The BE KIND awareness campaign empowers children aged 8-15 to build the confidence to stand up and speak out about bullying in schools. The campaign equips children with critical information, amplifies children's messages, and teaches them safe alternative communication skills. In addition, the campaign uses media to spread positive messages and tools to children, parents, and teachers to create compassionate communities.

The campaign provides essential prevention information and tools that guide children in responding to bullies and navigating the effects of being bullied. Children are empowered to build positive characteristics, hope, and resilience and focus on their education. The project aims to equip children with self-awareness skills to promote social awareness and create an empowered network of children committed to leading social change. The campaign doesn't dwell on the negative effects of bullying but on the positive impact of being kind.

Implementing this innovative model leverages existing school networks and enables proximate leaders such as teachers, management, school prefects, and youth influencers as crucial advocates. For school activations, nominated students are trained and given the prestigious title of Kids Voice Ambassadors to inspire them to become role models and change agents. The campaign has established buddy group systems for children to learn to be each other's keepers.

You can support our campaign by creating awareness in your community and schools. We need volunteers to create Be Kind clubs, spread our messages on social media and within the communities, distribute reading and learning materials, and lead community social work events.

Most importantly, we want each and every one of you to do one act of kindness every day. Your conscious, daily effort to Be Kind will go a long way to creating positive change.
